The Black Lantern Hour

Original, human-voiced Gothic horror stories rooted in dark folklore, old legends, ghost tales, monsters, cryptids, and forgotten warnings. Welcome to The Black Lantern Hour.

These aren't just stories about things hiding in the dark — they're the old fears mankind once understood: the wolf beyond the firelight, the figure in the upstairs window, the voice from the abandoned road, and legends that may have survived because something in them was true.

Every story here belongs to one dark, connected horror anthology — the same old rules, the same forgotten warnings, echoing across different legends, different towns, different centuries.

Atmospheric horror, animated visuals, folklore-inspired monsters, and classic horror storytelling told by lantern light. No cheap jump scares. No empty gore. Just old-school dread, and the belief that behind every legend, there may still be a kernel of truth.

And by all means — avoid the carriage.
