The Berlin Group

Berlin Group openFinance — the pan-European API standard for Open Banking, Open Finance & Open Data

The Berlin Group is an open standardisation body whose standards have been implemented by 80% of the European market and beyond. We bring together banks, regulated Third Party Providers, FinTechs, Associations, Payment Schemes and Interbank processors to define common, interoperable API standards that power secure, consent-driven access to financial data and payment services.

On this channel, we make the complex world of API standards accessible. Our videos explore the openFinance API Framework — from core PSD2 compliance services to Premium capabilities — with clarity, depth and a human touch.

Whether you are preparing for new regulations like PSD3, PSR, Digital Euro, FIDA, eIDAS2.0 with the EU Digital Identity Wallet, a FinTech building innovative services, or a professional navigating the European Open Finance landscape, this channel is for you.
