The Base Bid

The Base Bid is a free weekly on federal construction: Department of War MILCON and FSRM, VA construction, and the GSA Public Buildings Service.

Every Monday: the market research requests and solicitations that posted, the response deadlines coming up, what was awarded and through which vehicle, one construction IDIQ nearing its recompete, and one GSA lease entering its decision window.

The short videos here take one open construction opportunity at a time — who is asking, how much, where, and when the response is due.

Built by a former federal construction contracting officer and competition advocate. No ads, no sponsored items, no money from any firm we cover.
