TALE - The Author Left Early

The author has left the room. The character stays, and answers.

TALE is an interview series. Novelist Dean De Servienti sits down with the great characters of literature, in their own world, at the moment of their story when they have the most to answer for. Odysseus the morning after the slaughter in his hall. Dorian Gray with the key to the locked room in his pocket. Lady Macbeth the night she cannot wash her hands.

One text, one guest. Twelve minutes, five movements. The host knows how each story ends. He never says it.

Made honestly: each guest is played by an actor and reconstructed with AI; the host is real. All the works are in the public domain.

Season One · ten guests · Sundays from 31 January 2027.

Between episodes: trailers for Dean's novels (the Quantum trilogy, The Buyers, Life Turns) and short dramas from the classics.
