Welcome to The Art of Being Self-ish! 

I am Dr. SIms, a licensed psychologist, committed to promoting mental health and well being. When we take time for ourselves, we often consider that to be selfish, which has a negative connotation and frequently leads to people avoiding prioritizing themselves.  Therefore, I encourage everyone to be self-ish.  Focusing on your individual needs and priorities first so that you can be so full, you can serve others from your overflow.  Each week, I will be posting a new video focusing on one of 7 Self-ish areas (Physical, Psychological (Mental), Emotional, Relational, Spiritual, Professional, Sexual).
