The Aquaculture Chef

I’m Chef Steve Phelps, an award-winning chef, and former chef/owner of Indigenous Restaurant in Sarasota, Florida, dedicated to responsible seafood. At The Aquaculture Chef, we discuss the world’s best aquaculture practices while also highlighting the importance of well-managed, responsible wild-caught fisheries. Just like all animal farming, their are good companies and bad companies. We only want the good! You’ll see behind-the-scenes looks at modern fish farming, conversations on sustainability and ocean stewardship, and chef-driven recipes that bring out the best in both farmed and wild seafood. Join me as we explore how the future of seafood can be delicious, traceable, and sustainable.
