Sadat - That Canadian Brother™

As-salāmu ʿalaykum.  My name is Sadat Anwar.  I am a Sunni Muslim who was born and raised in Toronto, Canada.  I started this channel for the purposes of:

(1) Sharing my random thoughts and ruminations on various aspects of Islam.

(2) To speak out on politically-incorrect social and political issues that I feel our Canadian imams and community leaders are generally too scared to speak up about.

(3) To respond to anti-Islam and anti-Muslim videos, including those originating in Canada.

(4) To explain certain aspects of Islam to non-Muslims in a culturally-relevant way, and to thereby participate in whatever small and humble way that I can in the larger work of bringing 37 million Canadians to the message of Islam.  (You gotta aim big!)

Last but not least, I am hoping to have some FUN!!
