Texas Entertainer of the Year

Texas Entertainer of the Year is a direct preliminary to National Entertainer of the Year. Texas Entertainer of the Year FI began in 1991 and crowned its emeritus, Tasha Kohl who went on to take the crown for National Entertainer of the Year in the same year. Texas Entertainer of the Year boasts a list of contestants and winners of the Texas A-List of female impersonators over the years. 

Texas EOY went dark for the several years as COVID-19 continued to turn the world upside down. In 2023, Bishop Mark Zorn, a longtime LGBTQ+ advocate from Dallas and widower to female impersonator, the late Sheri Powers of Dallas, and Oklahoma City, stepped up to become the new promoter of Texas EOY FI. Mark continues today as the promoter of Texas EOY.
