Taylor Firehouse Institute

Welcome to the Firehouse Institute—an independent platform reimagining how and where academic medicine occurs.

Founded by Dr. Taylor, the Firehouse Institute bridges two decades of clinical experience with a passion for teaching, medical ethics, and evidence-based decision-making. After turning down traditional university faculty appointments to build a model without geographic or institutional constraints, Dr. Taylor created this channel to make complex scientific and ethical questions accessible to everyone.

Here you’ll find digital lectures, presentations, commentary, and deep dives into:

Medical ethics & informed consent

Evidence-based decision-making in clinical practice

The intersection of modern science, medicine, and healthcare policy
