Tau – the Café of the Liturgists

Our channel, "TAU – Café of Liturgists," is a platform for reflection on liturgical reform under the patronage of four eminent scholars and liturgical theologians: one of the forerunners of the Liturgical Movement in Poland, St. Józef Bilczewski, Archbishop of Lviv; three theologians involved in the liturgical reform of the Second Vatican Council: Father Bernard Botte, a Benedictine monk; Father Louis Bouyer, an Oratorian; and Father Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI. Their legacy will be a source of knowledge about the Catholic Liturgy and concern for the Church and its faith, which is expressed in the liturgy (lex orandi, lex credendi).

The name of the café refers to the café in Trastevere where, in the late 1960s, Dom Botte and Father Bouyer made the final adjustments to the draft of the new texts of the Eucharistic Prayers.
