With rapid technological advancement in recent years, intelligent living spaces became a key technology policy in Taiwan in 2005, and in 2010 the government further identified intelligent green building as a priority emerging industry. In response to this vision, experts, scholars, and industry leaders who had long supported the development of intelligent building in both the public and private sectors jointly established the Taiwan Intelligent Building Association in February 2010, with the aim of promoting the growth of the intelligent building industry and creating a high-quality intelligent living environment.
