Music at The College Merthyr Tydfil

The College Merthyr Tydfil offers a dynamic two-year, full-time program for 2024: the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music, Performance & Production. Students delve into the music industry, covering performance, production, songwriting, composition, engineering, and business.

Students build portfolios with original songs, tracks, and soundtracks for media. They gain training in event management, workshop delivery, community engagement, and music distribution. Beyond class, students enjoy free instrument and voice lessons, access to equipment, live sessions, work placements, and visits to top UK venues. They benefit from guest lectures, industry expert masterclasses, and personalised mentorship.
