Tennessee Archive of Moving Image and Sound

The Tennessee Archive of Moving Image & Sound (TAMIS) is the historic audio-visual department of Knox County Public Library. It is housed in the East Tennessee History Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Founded in 2005, TAMIS preserves recorded film, video, and a variety of audio formats, which often offer unique, one-of-one glimpses into East Tennessee's past. TAMIS also preserves photographs, documents, and ephemera related to its multimedia holdings.
