Hope Springs-A-Turtle

I’m a left handed San Franciscan with a long backstory. Perhaps I’ll end up sharing it here. I’m currently living in LA but am trying to get back to the Bay Area.

I have plans for the channel; a survivors’s diary of sorts on how to make due and excel using what you have and what you discover—in the world and in yourself.

I’m a lifetime backpacker (10K+), beginning at 11 years old with the Sierra Club. I’m retired USAF trying to build out my SUV as a temp home while I build a tiny house. It’s a tight wire act. My goal for next year is the hike the entire #PCT2020.

Please stay tuned.

UPDATE:
I’m having brain surgery to remove a tumor on April 30th, 2019. I’ll let you know how it turns out. 🌿
UPDATE:
As of August 1, 2019, I am recovering from the 13 hour brain surgery. Doing well, but the healing is difficult and s-l-o-w.
