Sunrise Trail Division NMRA

The Sunrise Trail is Division 1 of the Northeastern Region 21 of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). Any member of the NMRA in good standing who resides in the following counties of New York, is automatically a member of the STDiv: Kings (Brooklyn), Queens, The Bronx, Manhattan, Nassau, and Suffolk.

Since 1966, the STDiv has made the events, information, and services originated by the NMRA available to model railroaders locally. We hold three events each year – one meet in the Winter, one in the Spring, and a convention in the Fall. Neither experience nor proficiency is required – all that matters is that you enjoy the hobby of model railroading.

The abilities of our members runs the gamut between novice and master, and we seek to share our knowledge with you by providing clinics at our events, as well as through conversation.
