He Lab | Animal Genomics

Welcome to the He Lab!

Our research explores animal genetics, genomics, epigenetics, and multi-omics to better understand how animals respond and adapt to their environment, with the goal of improving animal health, productivity, resilience, and sustainable agriculture and aquaculture, as well as human health.

On this channel, we share our research and educational activities involving livestock, aquaculture species, and animal models like mice. You’ll find videos featuring laboratory and field research, genomics and sequencing technologies, bioinformatics, student projects, research presentations, educational tutorials, and behind-the-scenes moments from our lab.

We hope this channel provides a place to share science, support student learning, and connect with researchers, students, producers, and anyone interested in animal science and genomics.

Welcome to the He Lab --- where we explore how genes, environment, and biology work together to shape animal health and human health.
