Stop Salmon Farming For Good

“Stop salmon farming, for good” is a life affirming short film about a group of kids and families in the Northwest of Scotland who stood up to a global salmon farming giant, to protect their beaches and seas from even more pollution. It provides a glimpse into the shady tactics used to try to divide the community and underlines the urgent need for communities to have legal rights and the final say over industrial salmon farm development in Scotland’s wild places. Places that we call “home”.

A coalition of conservation and community groups from around the world, spearheaded in Scotland by Corin Smith, has been helping our coastal communities resist unwanted salmon feedlot expansion. In March 2024 the residents of Ullapool asked for help, this film is about what happened.
