Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a chronic condition often linked to advanced diabetes, where arteries in the legs and feet can become clogged with plaque. This can cause leg cramps while walking or lying down, cold feet, numbness, tingling, diabetic neuropathy, and nonhealing foot wounds. If untreated, foot wounds can progress to gangrene and tissue loss, possibly leading to amputation. 
Southern Vascular and Foot Rescue aims to educate residents in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky about PAD’s risk factors and symptoms so that early intervention can prevent more severe complications. Through outpatient procedures, including our trademarked Foot Rescue that restores blood flow to the foot and toes, patients with PAD can become symptom-free and enjoy a healthier, happier life.
