Somerville Community Growing Center

The Somerville Community Growing Center is a quarter-acre sized, city-owned, volunteer-run green space in Somerville, Massachusetts that since 1993 has been on the cutting edge of innovation in urban agriculture and community activism. One of Somerville's most beloved "third places," it hosts rich programming including environmental education, agricultural and gardening workshops, cultural performances and children's events, and offers unique volunteer opportunities. Our YouTube channel showcases videos made by or about the Growing Center since its inception in the early 1990's.
