Solid Rock Masonry Heaters

Solid Rock Masonry builds masonry heaters, SR Core DIY heater kits, kachelofen tile stoves, and wood-fired bake ovens from Duluth, Minnesota. Owner Eric Moshier is a Certified Heater Mason and third-generation mason with more than 25 years in the trade, a member of the Masonry Heater Association Technical Committee, and part of the ASTM E1602 masonry heater group.

On this channel: how masonry heaters work, build footage from real projects, SR Core kit builds, Tulikivi soapstone heater installations, curing and first fires, and maintenance. Plus stone fireplaces, stone houses, and brick and stone restoration.

We build heaters nationwide and ship SR Core kits to owner-builders and local masons. Stone fireplaces, stone houses, and brick and stone restoration within about 90 minutes of Duluth.
