Dr. SoYoung Choe, Ph.D. in Psychology

I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Southern California and then earned a K99 grant funded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development. Between my K99 and R00 grants, I can share my expertise and experiences below, hoping that it would help parents, children, students, junior scholars, etc.

What I can share entails:
My research on parental psychological control;
What not to do to earn training grants (e.g., NIH K grants - Career development awards);
Things to consider for graduate school and academia;
Culturally sensitive training;
Anti-inflammatory and yet tasty cooking: no gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, and vegetable oil; no plastic or coated pans/pots;
Nature and animals I like (e.g., pelicans, seals).
