Six Minutes on...

Six Minutes On… is a channel of short documentaries about things you've heard of but never quite understood.

A drowned country under the North Sea. A late-night radio bulletin that became poetry. The tunnels that saved a city. The question of who built the first computer. Each film takes one remarkable place, invention or piece of hidden history and explains it properly in about six minutes: the surprising fact first, then the story behind it.

Every film is researched from primary sources, illustrated with maps, archive material and original footage, and credited in full on screen.

Curious stories. Precisely told.
