Sindh Human Rights Commission

Sindh Human Rights Commission, Government of Sindh is a statutory body established under Sindh Protection of Human Rights Act 2011 having mandate to enquire (on complaint or suo-motu) on the issues pertaining to life, liberty, equality and diginity of masses.

SHRC is also empowered to monitor, asses situations of rights violations in Jails, darul amans and hospitals, inspect the living conditions of the inmates and recommend remedies to the Government for improvement.

SHRC provide policy recommendation on laws, legislative and legal processes and create awareness to public on their Rights and the laws passed by the Government of Sindh.
