Under the aegis of the Region of Crete.

Τhe former SHPP, revitalized and restored by the Region of Crete, the Public Power Corporation (PPC) Renewables as well as the Technical Assosiation/West Crete Department,  is under the management of Regional Development Company of Crete S.A.

Nowadays, SHPP has been transformed into a vibrant hub, a cultural center dedicated to Sciences and Education.
