Shine Education and Training

Shine provides a range of family violence education and training programmes throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, with the aim of creating a collective response to this massive social problem.

DVFREE Workplace Programme - We support employers to improve their workplace response to family violence. DVFREE services include First Responder Training, Manager Training, Customer Response Training, policy consultation and free Employer Guidelines. The DVFREE Tick Partnership Programme supports a sustainable best practice workplace response.

Shine RESPOND - We provide a tiered training programme for professionals and community workers in social services, justice, health, education who come into contact with people experiencing or using family violence. Training levels go from Introductory Training and Foundational Skills through to Advanced Training and Specialist Days on particular topics.
