Mommy Runs It: Life After Spinal Fusion Surgery
http://www.mommyrunsit.com

I'm Sharon: child-wrangler, marathon runner, wannabe yogi, and blogger. On May 26, 2016, I had a spinal fusion (L4-S1) to stabilize my spondylolisthesis. In my post-op life, I keep it all together with a little humor, an occasional nap, and a whole bunch of titanium rods and screws.

I'm often asked about my diagnosis, how I became injured, why I decided to have a spinal fusion, what my recovery has been like, and what my life is like now. I'm always happy to answer these questions, and I thought it might be helpful to share my answers, my story, and my life after spinal fusion. My recovery hasn't been perfect & I still have limitations, but I do consider myself a success story. Feel free to comment with any questions. And please share your stories, too!
