Farley Moor in Matlock Forest is under threat
Forest England is backing plans for a massive £30 million complex of lodges, roads and service buildings, akin to building a small village in the heart of these public woodlands. A private company, Forest Holidays, intends to build a huge holiday complex in the heart of this peaceful wildlife-rich place.
@savefarleymoor have a lot of concerns about the planning application which has implications for wildlife, damage to local business doing the same thing, loss of carbon capture, loss of a loved local amenity, for profits for an off shore private equity fund., and other concerns - you can read more about this on our web page www.savematlockforest.org
