SAPROPEL

Sapropel is a trio of goblinoid shamans haunting a garage on the outskirts of Turin, Italy.

Zymosoundtrack is their first album, conceived as the sonic counterpart to Nalsco’s gamebook "ZYMO – Openworld Viticultural Bodyhorror" published by Hollow Press.

Forged over three days of live, ritualistic jamming and distilled into thirteen tracks, the album moves between crushing doom metal and jazz-infused oddities. This unlikely fusion, framed by a dungeon synth–tinged aesthetic, both echoes and amplifies the novel’s somber, uncanny atmosphere.

“One of the albums I’ve heard this year.” — Someone, somewhere.
