SANKOFA NATION BUILDERS CONVOCATION 2026

EVENT CONCEPT NOTE

The Sankofa Pan-African Honours is one of Ghana’s premier platform for celebrating vision, virtue, and legacy. Inspired by the Akan philosophy of Sankofa—“go back and fetch it”—the Honours recognise individuals and institutions whose service bridges heritage and progress.

In August 2025, the inaugural edition gathered 40 of Ghana’s most distinguished leaders and achievers, including statesmen, traditional rulers, business magnates, academics, cultural icons, and clergy. That historic night established a new standard for honouring excellence in Ghana.

The Crown Edition, scheduled for 14th December 2025, represents the elevation of this platform to Pan-African prominence—bringing together Ghana’s finest alongside continental leaders, diplomats, and multinational institutions.

Award Presentations: In 3 exclusive tiers:

* Hall of Fame – immortalising legacies.
* The Order – honouring distinguished service.
* The Crown – crowning today’s icons and innovators.
