Sailing In Real Life

I'm inspired by all the "sell everything, leave everything, buy a boat and sail off into the blue" YouTube channels. But that's just not me. I'm an Engineer looking down the barrel of retirement and I want it to be more of a beginning than an end. I've been a marine mechanic, a deep sea diver, and an Engineer building highways and bridges for 25 years. I've been a surfer since I was 15, a hang glider pilot since I was 35 and I've dreamt of sailing oceans since I don't remember when.
I love the life I've built, I don't want to give it up, I just want to add sailing to the mix.
This channel will document how I work out a way to "have it all".
