Sailing A Fedora In The Wind

This is not a sailing channel; this is a journey channel.

The videos on this channel are a visual exploration utilizing cartography, motion design, and archival textures. They will ultimately form a complete, non-linear docuseries charting my attempt to journey home, and are based on my forthcoming book, THE LANDLUBBER'S SCROLLS FOR CONQUERING THE SEAS©.

The book is a  memoir of internal and external navigation. The tension between control and surrender—explored through sailing, solitude, fear, psychological struggles, absurdity, and stubborn independence. A waveform of oscillation... between rising, and falling.. between reflection, and movement.. between succeeding, and failing... A seascape of trials, crashing up against a landscape of time endured... of choice enacted ...of information received... of safety embraced... of desire sought.
