SWPlugIns

swplugins makes Advanced Surface Tools, an add-in for SOLIDWORKS that puts textures, patterns, reliefs and faceted surfaces onto part faces as real, parametric NURBS geometry. No meshes, no decals, no render-only appearances.

On this channel: short tutorials and how-tos for every tool.
• Knurling and grip textures on curved faces
• Hex, Voronoi and other patterns on bottles and vases
• Text and logos embossed or debossed around curved faces
• Holes, dimples and bumps normal to the surface
• Faceted, origami and low-poly surfaces
• Flattening faces, modelling in the flat and wrapping back
• FBX export with materials and UVs for Blender and Cinema 4D
