North American Mayday Institute

Every Mayday has a story, and every tragedy holds a lesson. Welcome to the North American Mayday Institute (NAMI) channel, a show dedicated to dissecting and learning from NIOSH Firefighter Fatality Investigation and Prevention Program reports.

Our mission is deeply rooted in respect for the fallen. We believe the greatest way to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice is to ensure their final calls become life-saving lessons for the rest of us. In each episode, we break down real-world incidents, analyze the chain of events, and discuss actionable safety and tactical recommendations.
