SOFA KINGS 2000 SF CA

The SOFA KINGS did rock hard in San Francisco, California, during the early 2000's, playing many a loud tune such as Stone Temple Pilots & Pearl Jam, but also a classic or two such as Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond.

BAND MEMBERS:
- Alan Parker (Vocals)
- Brian Jeffrey (Bass & Harmony)
- Jason Blum (Guitar 1)
- Andy Ward (Guitar 2)
- Mike Taylor (Drummer 1st 2 yrs)
- Jason Souza (Drummer 2nd 2 yrs)

They had regular gigs many Friday nights at their favorite stage: a club called the "Blue Triangle Lounge" at 3231 Filmore Street in SF, at the corner of Moulton Street, near Lombard street. This area was known as "The Triangle" because of the very popular bars right across the street (such as the historical "Balboa Cafe") forming a triangle of popular bars, many of which are probably still there today in some form or another. The crowds were so packed during those Friday nights, that you could easily lose someone amongst the sharks, making this similar to the "Bermuda Triangle" :)
