SMURF - The forest owners' project

SMURF, the forest owners' project, in line with the EU Forestry Strategy, will contribute to promoting sustainable forest management and conserving Europe's forests by developing a set of solutions focused on small forest holdings. The project will secure and promote small-scale forest management for the sustainable use of wood and non-wood products. It will fully respect the cascading use principle and contribute to biodiversity and climate objectives, including forest ecosystem restoration and protection.
