Welcome to the channel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas!

The court is participating in an audio pilot program permitting a limited number of district and bankruptcy courts, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims to livestream audio of certain civil and bankruptcy proceedings with the consent of the parties. Under the pilot program, audio of qualifying proceedings will be livestreamed on this channel.

Audio recordings will be available for playback on YouTube after proceedings have ended for up to one year.

The pilot program is limited to certain civil and bankruptcy proceedings involving matters of public interest. Proceedings involving live witness testimony or sealed, confidential or classified materials are excluded from the pilot.
