Ruttkay Revival

Welcome to Ruttkay Revival!

I’m Michael — a beginner woodworker and furniture revivalist, slowly trading spreadsheets for sawdust.

The goal? Learn as much as I can, breathe new life into old furniture, and maybe one day turn this into a full-time gig (or at least a decent excuse to buy more tools).

It all started with wooden machine guns for the neighborhood kids and “helping” my dad and grandpa fix things around the house — mostly by holding the flashlight wrong.

Join me on my journey as I chase the dream, dodge splinters, and see how many mistakes one man can make with power tools and good intentions.
