Roy Stanton - Author & LOSER! in Chief

Roy Stanton aka Black Hamlet is the author of over 30 books, including Loser! One Hand, and Who is Black Hamlet?. Roy lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, after a long stint in Los Angeles and an even longer stint in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.

After 30 books, Black Hamlet is one of the most prolific and innovative poets of the 21st century, with his unique applications of form poetry, free verse, some slam and rap for good measure, and his signature forays into the hard and soft sciences.

As well as his poetry, Roy has just finished his first novel: LOSER! along with the Sci-Fi epic, THE RESONANCE GAP and the three books which make up The Indrajala Trilogy: POET, DANCER, MUSICIAN. Two Horror books - THE FINAL CUT and ENCORE OF TERROR were also added in May 2026.
