Rooting For Our Kids

Hi! I'm Nicole, a mom in Davie, Florida, and this is Rooting for Our Kids.

Here you'll find read-aloud story videos for kids, starting with Mr. Pumpkin, my Halloween story about trading candy for a toy. More holiday and birthday stories are on the way.

You'll also see what we're cooking up at Seeds for the Future, our hands-on cooking and café business classes for kids and teens ages 7 to 17 at Mama Cheá Café in Davie. We work with homeschool families, micro schools and all kinds of schools, and we're a Step Up For Students approved provider.

I believe in smart education, and that means more than screens: real books, real food, real people and a strong community. We can't change the world, but we can change the community we live in.

Hablamos español.
