🌱 Help Us Build Root & Rise Sustainable Farm
Turning Waste Into Life

Every farm starts with a seed. Ours started with a piece of land, a vision, and the belief that something meaningful can grow when a community works together.

Root & Rise Sustainable Farm is a developing community-focused sustainable farming project in Eldorado Park, Johannesburg. We are working to transform unused land into a productive space where we can grow food, restore soil, reduce organic waste and create opportunities for our community.

We've already started.

We've cleared sections of the land by hand, built raised growing beds and planted broccoli, onions, spring onions, green peppers and a banana plant. We're learning from the land and building step by step with the resources available to us.

But this is only the beginning.
Food waste can become compost.
Unused materials can become infrastructure.

We also want to develop farm infrastructure using recycled and donated materials wherever possible.
