Rolling A Million

A journey across continents, in search of identity and belonging, love and acceptance. This is the story of Rolling A Million - a true retelling of Tuy “2E” Gentry Buckner’s life. Orphaned during the Vietnam-America War, Tuy contracted polio at a young age. He was airlifted to America after being adopted by a dynamic family, where his mother was a political activist and lawyer, and his father, a world renowned baritone singer and a grandson of Thomas Watson, the founder of IBM.

Growing up American, Tuy did not think much about his Vietnamese heritage, until one day, in his early 20s, his mother asked him to join the very first Peace Walk in Vietnam against the USA trade embargo. His decision to visit his birth country changed everything, and led Tuy down the most extraordinary path - one that led him to finding his 2 families, Presidential handshakes, mafia boss meetups, drug addiction, loss, lies, redemption and discovering the answer to the ultimate question “Who Am I?”
