=Imagination & Stories= 
Imagination and stories are a powerful tool to help us understand ourselves and the often dark and confusing world around us (and sometimes to escape therefrom). While I love reading, writing, and crafting stories, I often find the traditional routes of weaving tales restrictive. I can feel tied down to my pre-determined outlined plot from which I want to break free. I long to experience wonder, explore the unexplored with my characters, and to be surprised when they're surprised. 

=RPGs & Oracles=
Some years ago I discovered a happy marriage of role-playing games and oracle story-telling tools for GM-less play and relatively stress-free story creation. The RPGs provide the rules, the structure, and often the setting. The oracles provide a context-constrained release of creative energy.
