My name is Joel Davis, and I’m a missionary bush pilot and flight instructor training the next generation of bush pilots.
I spent years flying a Cessna 185 taildragger into remote jungle airstrips to support missionaries and serve indigenous communities, using my unique aviation training to reach places few aircraft can go.

Today, I’m back teaching at my alma mater, Moody Aviation in Spokane, Washington, helping students grow from Private Pilot through Commercial and beyond through a program that includes specialized experience in tailwheel flying, mountain flying, float plane operations, and backcountry aviation.
