Robo-Who - Sci-Fi Tech with Richard Hopkins

Howdo! I'm Richard Hopkins and my hobby is making real sci-fi robots from BBC TV's Doctor Who. I've been doing videos of my creations for some time, but mostly just to illustrate the work on my blog. Robo-Who is a new series of videos that will show you how my robots work - and how to make similar things yourself. All the code and designs I write are shared freely via the Robo-Who blog and GitHub site.

When I'm not playing with robots, I design IT systems as an IBM Distinguished Engineer. In 2020 I became a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Designing and building stuff is a great way to spend your time, so I hope these videos inspire you to try things for yourself.
