Congressman Gabe Amo proudly represents Rhode Island’s 1st District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Rep. Amo is a native of Pawtucket, RI & the son of two parents from West Africa – his mother is originally from Liberia & father is originally from Ghana. As the son of a mother who is a nurse & a father who owns a liquor store, he understands what it is like to grow up in a working class family. His story is one that is familiar to many in Rhode Island: one of hard work, resilience, grit, & determination.

Amo’s  is ready to deliver for the people of Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District by: strengthening retirement security for seniors, ending gun violence, ensuring resilience to climate change, securing reproductive freedom, & protecting our democracy.
