On African Societies:Religion,Culture and Politics

Welcome to “On African Societies: Religion, Culture and Politics,” a space that advances critical conversations aimed at understanding why most parts of African societies remain trapped in a 19th-century lifestyle. The host, Mastano Dzimbiri, engages with experts to explore broader questions about how religious, cultural, and political beliefs and practices shape African societies specifically on how these systems and practices contribute to the deprivation and worsening of the living conditions in most parts of Africa.

The podcast also seeks to amplify the voices of both emerging scholars and established experts through thought-provoking inquiries, dialogues, and conversations around these core issues besides sharing information about study abroad programs (i.e Master’s and PhDs) in the U.S, Canada, and UK.
