Relational Mindfulness in Coaching and Beyond

In this channel, we (Emma Donaldson-Feilder and Liz Hall) share material to inspire the application of Relational Mindfulness in coaching, other helping professions and beyond. We draw on our decades of experience as coaches and mindfulness teachers, and on our pioneering book, Relational Mindfulness for Coaches: Enhancing Presence, Awareness, Wisdom, Compassion and Courageous Collaboration (Routledge, 2025), as well on research and other material from others we believe will be of interest. 
The quality of our presence and awareness is key to the quality and success of our relationships. Relational Mindfulness (RM) supports coaches and others to co-create compassionate, psychologically safe yet courageous coaching spaces, generating profound insight, wisdom and understanding. In these challenging times of polarisation and conflict, the climate emergency and a crisis in mental health, RM addresses the urgent need to create and tap into transformational dialogue and interrelatedness..
