Our Reformation Metals division now builds on that legacy, with a world-leading capability to cleanly recover critical metals from e-waste. 

In 2024, The Royal Mint partnered with Canadian clean tech company Excir to implement their world-first process for the chemically reclaiming precious metals. By combining patented, reusable chemistry with world-class engineering, we provide an eco-friendly, innovative alternative to traditional methods. 

Our 3,700sqm plant in South Wales processes up to 4,000 tonnes of PCBs annually, offering a UK solution to a growing problem.
