The Local Music Show Live From the Rec Room

The Local Music Show Live From the Rec Room is a live session collaboration between The Local Music Show and Rec Room Studios. The sessions are an audio and video document of the local Chicago music scene and a testament to the amount of talent in the city.

The Local Music Show, hosted by Erik Hanson, started as a weekly radio show on WHCM 88.3 Harper College Radio. The show has featured over 500 local bands and artists since 2020.

Rec Room Recording Studio is run by Chicago-based recording engineer Eric Block. With spacious and acoustically balanced rooms, it is well suited for bands, singer/songwriters, as well as voiceover work.
