New Red Street Records family trio The Sound is comprised of brothers Levi (lead vocals), Jacob Mills (acoustic guitar, vocals) and their father, Rob (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals). Third-generation musicians, the Mills family grew up in Michigan singing harmony at church and listening to vocal groups like Diamond Rio, Rascal Flatts and Shenandoah. Initially pursuing gospel music in Nashville, their faith remains foundational as their music blends their Midwestern roots with the country storytelling that shaped them. The trio’s signature three-part harmony went viral through raw stairwell covers filmed on an iPhone, earning more than 200 million views and 1 million followers, along with praise from Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts and ERNEST. They also appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. The Sound will release their Keith Whitley-inspired heartbreak ballad, “Everything But Love,” Sept. 25, 2026.
